Harder Kulm
The funicular takes just ten minutes to ascend from Interlaken to one of the best vantage points in the Bernese Oberland – Harder Kulm, where you can clearly see how Interlaken got its name.
If Interlaken had a king, he would assuredly reside at Harder Kulm. From his eyrie at 1,322 metres above sea level, he would look down benevolently on Lakes Brienz and Thun or gaze at the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
