Sustainability

Sustainability is a central focus of the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa. Our commitment includes both environmental measures and social initiatives through which we aim to make a lasting and positive impact to the environment and society.

In the social sector, we work closely with the Swiss Food Bank and the Salvation Army to provide targeted support to people in the region. We demonstrated our solidarity especially during the Christmas season: with great care, we prepared small gift bags filled with Christmas treats, which were distributed to people facing difficult life circumstances to bring them joy during this special time.

At the same time, we pursue ecological goals by constantly optimizing our energy consumption. For example, we use motion sensors for lighting and a modern facility management system that allows us to control the heating and ventilation systems. Through these targeted measures, we are able to save resources and make our hotel operations more sustainable step by step.
