The Schilthorn

The Piz Gloria is a revolving restaurant at an altitude of 2,970 metres above sea level, commanding unrivalled views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains.

With an interactive exhibition, Bond World 007 recalls the unforgettable scenes when the secret agent “In the Service of Her Majesty” finished off the villain Blofeld. The restaurant on the summit, which rotates once around its own axis in 45 minutes, owes its current name “Piz Gloria” to the film production. If the view into the abyss at the “Skyline Walk” at the intermediate station Birg is not enough of a thrill for you, you can take the “Thrill Walk”, a 200-metre-long footbridge down into the vertical-right walls of the rock massif.  The offer on the Allmendhubel is completed with themed hiking trails for the whole family, the children’s playground or the Bistro Birg with its most beautiful sun terrace in the region at 2,677 metres above sea level.
