Facilities & opening hours
The 5,500 m² spa Nescens offers an outstanding health range with a sauna complex, steam baths, quiet room, massage options, beauty treatments, gym and a large and beautifully designed pool area.
At the spa Nescens, there’s no such thing as a bad hair day. Aerni, our tradition-conscious and multi-award-winning hairdresser, is at your service from tuesday to saturday. Aside from conventional cutting and styling, Aerni unfurls the true beauty of your hair through deep penetration with selected products (followed by scalp massage on request), party styling for special occasions and a wedding package for bridal celebrations.
Since fitness raises physical and psychological well-being, the spa Nescens has a fitness center with around 35 innovative strength and endurance machines. There are six tennis courts for your use, with the services of a tennis coach if required. You can also choose from more than 30 health treatments, including step, bodyforming, pilates, yoga and many more. Further afield, the Bernese Highlands promise practically unlimited possibilities for exercise in the fresh air.
Those in search of individual guidance and support will find it in the form of motivated personal trainers – not just in the fitness room, but the swimming pool as well. Under personal instruction, you will learn how to utilize water resistance efficiently and strengthen several muscle groups at once. You can arrange a one-off training session or a full course of ten units. We also offer fitness training for private groups (two to 12 persons maximum).
The VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU Grand Hotel & Spa makes an ideal base for launching activities in the fresh air of the Bernese highlands. Guests can take a trip to the nearby Harder Kulm mountain, which promises superb views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Helicopter flights and paragliding offer fresh ways to see the world from a bird’s-eye perspective. It is also possible to take a boat trip to the roaring Giessbach Falls or a jet boat on Lake Brienz. Comfortable carriage rides, absorbing museum visits and bike rides into the Jungfrau region round out a very wide choice.
