Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe

It is known as the Top of Europe: an apt description for the highlight of any Swiss holiday. Here at an altitude of 3,454 metres above sea level stands the highest railway station in Europe.

The train ride up through the Eiger and the Mönch is a real experience. Arriving at their destination, visitors step out into a wonderland of ice, snow and rock, with views stretching as far as the Vosges Mountains and the Black Forest. Offering the Alpine Sensation subway, the Ice Palace and much more, this excursion is a must.

With the opening of the “Eiger Express” on December 5, 2020, the Jungfrau Railways’ V-Bahn project was completed, enabling the journey from Interlaken to the Jungfraujoch in just one and a half hour.
